How to Install a VLC Player in Ubuntu Part - 2

  • Go to Applications > Ubuntu Software Center which is located in Main menu.

  • When you open Ubuntu Software Center you'll be need to type 'vlc' in search function which are located on the right upper corner of the window and hit Enter.

  • When it asks you for password, type the password and hit Enter. Now VLC Player is installed, now you're ready to use this application.

  • Go to System > Sound & Video > VLC Player, where this application is located and click on icon to run the player.
